Kevin Downswell's Short Bio
Kevin Downswell is a worshipper with a powerful resonating message. His gift and personal testimony have propelled him to the top tier of gospel singers in his home country, Jamaica, the wider Caribbean and increasingly the world. He has four (4) soul - stirring worship studio albums entitled – Close to You, The Search Continues, All the Way and Grace, and two live recordings namely, Realignment - the Live Encounter and The Shift. His latest releases GRACE & a bonus album THE SHIFT are currently causing a stir. Both projects are also available everywhere music is streamed. Songs such You Make Me Stronger, Close to You, Carry Me, If It’s Not You and the new hit track Grace have become anthems for many across the world. Kevin is a father, husband, ordained Evangelist, author, motivational speaker and international recording artiste and is at the helm of Downswell Records which currently puts a lot of focus on mentoring young and promising individuals with a heart after God. He has shared the stage with the likes of Bishop T.D Jakes, Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Kirk Franklyn, Tasha Cobbs, Maverick City and the list goes on. He also recently signed a Publishing and Distribution deal with Christian Music giant Integrity Music. Min. Downswell has earned many accolades for his work in the gospel ministry including various awards locally and Internationally, but where his heart really lies is in his Realignment initiative that focuses on giving attention to the needs of children abandoned by their families and are in the hands of the state. Min. Kevin Downswell is supported in ministry by his lovely wife Marsha. He is a man who never fails to deflects all praises and accolades to God. He is a lover of God, a worshipper and keeps as his motto, St. John 3:30- “That Christ may increase, and I decrease.”
